Corporate activities to reduce energy consumption

Disclosures in Accordance with the TCFD Recommendations

The ZENKOKU HOSHO Group regards climate change countermeasures as an important issue in our management strategy, and in November 2022, we expressed our support for the recommendations of the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). We are promoting the disclosure of information on "governance," "strategies," "risk management," and "indicators and targets" as recommended by the TCFD.

Efforts to promote second-hand housing

The ZENKOKU HOSHO Group carries out initiatives to promote the distribution of second-hand housing to make effective use of limited resources. Major initiatives to date have included reviewing product standards, implementing campaigns to fund the purchase and renovation of second-hand housing, and promoting the use of housing performance evaluation.

Promoting widespread use of renewable energy

The ZENKOKU HOSHO Group is working to promote widespread use of renewable energy including solar power generation. Major initiatives to date have included reviewing product standards and implementing campaigns to fund the purchase of houses equipped with a solar power generation system.

Going paperless

The ZENKOKU HOSHO Group is working to reduce the amount of paper we use so as to make effective use of limited resources and to mitigate burden on the environment. Our paperless efforts include digital screening, in which applications received via facsimile are saved and examined as electronic data instead of being printed, as well as digitization of rules, manuals and other documents and also utilization of computers and tablets in meetings.
